Cooper Sullivan made a name for himself in the MMA world, beginning at the age of 22. For over a decade, the man would rise through the ranks to be considered one of the best fighters around, commanding massive endorsements and fighting for outrageously large prizes. But then, at 34, something happened. That once stellar career began to come crashing down as he lost fight after fight and it would seem that he just couldn't recover. Whispered rumor within the fighting circle was that Cooper threw a series of fights, though an investigation into the matter failed to turn up any proof. After all, the man didn't need the money from throwing the fights and he certainly didn't seem to profit from the losses. He ended up being labeled a 'Wash Out' and 'Has Been' and just before his 35th birthday, he announced his retirement and stepped away from the ring.
Shortly after, Cooper founded an event and advertising agency specializing in MMA Fighting. Unfortunately, with his recent failure and labeling, he failed to attract top-end sponsors and the companies biggest success was hosting and sponsoring a boxing fight at a local bar in a small town. Three years this went on before he folded the company, admitting defeat.
Not settling for defeat, Cooper pivoted directions and opened up a nightclub in the city.
