Sydney was born and raised at Western Eye, raised under a rather militant Ahroun mother with several other of the Sept’s girls. As some changed and others didn’t, the groups were separated, and Syd’s training became more focused in ranged combat given kin are squishier than their counterparts. Against her mother’s wishes she spent some time in the military, serving overseas for eight years. Recently returned she opted to come to Los Angeles instead, needing the space and possible combat to focus on. War leaves scars you can’t see.
