Background
Zorya is a Child of Gaia Kinfolk woman, raised in a knowing family with political and financial ties to the world at large, where their influence is used to help the Garou Nation's mission over all. She is educated, political, charismatic, and very self-possessed. She works as a blogger (her own blog, Channel Z, is a political blog that employs several other freelance journalists as well) and a 'talking head' on news shows on WNN (World News Now cable network), a liberal-leaning 24-hour news outlet.
She was a former college flame of Nikolai Marshall who came back into his life and rekindled that fire. They are now married, with their first child Brand having been born in January, and Zorya (called 'Zo' by friends) could not be happier.
She is of Russian, Irish, and other miscellaneous Euro heritage. She speaks Russian and Spanish fluently as well as English.

River - It seems the wound is being healed between Bear's pack and River, and for that, I am glad. I hope to call him our friend once more.

Lana is a Russian woman in her late 40s. She has shoulder-length dark hair and eyes, and strong bone structure. She stands at medium height with a matronly build. She has a bright, sardonic smile and neatly-manicured hands, and dresses in neat business-casual attire.
She is a second cousin to Zorya and the two get along well. She respects the hard work and drive that her cousin shows, and is happy to help her and her mate in running the growing household. She left her home in St. Petersburg, Russia when her mate died. She came overseas to be with the American branch of family (Daniels/Danilov) to offer and receive support, 10 years ago.
She acquired her paralegal certification here in the US after having done the same job in Russia for most of her adult years. She is currently seeking her certification as a paralegal in California after having lived in Maryland. She is organized. Very.
She has two other children (aside from her son Mick who came to LA with her) who are adults and living their own lives. She loves kids, and a tight sense of family devotion. She is grateful for her American family being so welcoming after she lost her mate and came here with (then) three kids.
She's somewhat traditional about things, especially interactions with Garou. She likes her household to be organized, does chore charts, and expects people to maintain their own spaces well and contribute to the whole. She may be a little too pampering toward Garou.
She is a painter as a hobby, though she sometimes sells her work on Etsy and does custom work for hire.

Mick (still called Misha by his mom) is a college-aged young man, tall and lanky, with dark curly hair and dark eyes. He has a soulful expression, long graceful limbs, and a ready smile. His face is angular and strong-jawed.
He's happy to be in LA because it's way more exciting than Maryland to his thinking. He's somewhat technologically adept like a lot of Gen Z-ers. He has a slight Russian accent. His focus right now is in performance -- he's a drama kid all the way, though he intends to make his degree in something more practical, like business administration.
Mick likes music as well, and has a good singing voice -- a trait that appears often in the Danilov/Daniels family.
He admires his aunt and calls Zorya 'Tetya Zee' or 'Auntie Zee' depending on the moment.
