Background
The story of Cleopatra "Clio" Fernandez is one of rags to riches. Born in Echo Park to poor, working class parents, she struggled through life, and was able to eventually get a full ride scholarship to Yale. She majored in theater and women's studies, and throughout her time at Yale was able to land a few small indie movies that landed critical acclaim on the film festival circuit.
As she grew older, she was able to land in a few commercially successful movies in relatively small parts. Her lucky break came in the form of a supporting actress role in what was essentially a remake of "The Piano" which landed her multiple awards nominations for best supporting actress. Alas, she didn't win, but those nominations was able to catapult her career even further to where she can be pickier about roles.
As such, she's looking for her next big role, hopefully as a lead actress, and it's rumored that she's going to be cast in a lead for a major franchise potentially from Warner Brothers or the House of Mouse.
In her off time, she's an easily recognizable face around young Hollywood and Echo Park, where she does charity work, trying to beautify her childhood home.
