Background
1st generation Chicano. Inherited a chain of key-cutting, personal safe and home security stores under the name of 'Keys West'. Sold said chain of stores to pay for legal fees and a settlement. Took the remainder of the proceeds and broke bad. Made use of security and lock knowledge to lead a small crew on a crime spree through Arizona in the late 2000's (Fame-2: Crime).
A botched robbery at Phoenix First National Bank saw him plead out guilty to 1 count of attempted bank robbery to satisfy the Governor's call for a quick conviction. Sentenced to 15 years in Lampoc Federal Penitentiary, served 9.5 and was recently released on Parole. (Blacklisted:4)
Things have changed recently for Miguel. No more parole officer hounding him. No more working at a warehouse hauling bags of flour all day or being a tuff at strip clubs. Nowadays he can be spotted around Nevin and South Central, hobnobbing with Mexican gangers and directing traffic.
This appear to be going his way these days. Appearances can be so deceiving sometimes.

 Keep an eye on that one: Flaw: Profiled Appearance. Miguel naturally looks mean, threatening and will take anything of yours that isn't nailed down. Getting patted down and questioned by the police is a common occurrence.
If you're gonna do the time...: Miguel appears to be back in the life now. More time looking over his shoulder. Still, the itch to take what isn't his flares up from time to time. Jewelry stores, bank robberies, security in general are his fortes.
Latino Heat: Miguel is bilingual but Spanish is his mother tongue. He has ties to MS-13 and while a Mexican-American, he associates more as a Chicano than a Gringo.
Gangland: Miguel's ties with the Mexican Mafia are more than rumors. Gang members, especially of the Latin persuasion will be hearing his name as someone of importance.
