Tall, lithe, and with a decidedly 'grunge' style, Adam either never left the nineties or is doing a remarkably accurate revival of the Gen X look.

He stands at roughly six feet tall, give or take an inch or two on either side of the divide. It really depends on how much he's slouching at any given moment, as he has a habit of hunching his shoulders and keeping both hands shoved in his pockets. Though he's more lean than he is muscled, the calluses on the tips of his long fingers indicate that the definition in his arms is likely the result of long hours of playing guitar, drums, or both.

A mop of unruly curls hangs to the bottoms of his ears, both with a pair of silver studs in them, and it's hard to tell whether it was deliberately shorn that way or if he hasn't bothered getting it cut in the last six months. Years of (once) living under the California sun have bleached parts of his naturally brown hair blond, the strands getting lighter and lighter closer to the ends. His eye are brown, dark enough to be almost black, and large enough to frequently be called 'soulful'. More often than not, he has a day or two's worth of stubble coating a sharply defined jaw.

His clothes are almost always casual. Jeans or cargo pants, well-worn Converse or a pair of beat up boots, and t-shirts layered over long sleeves or under flannels in almost every season except for summer. When he does wear a button-down of some kind, it usually boasts a truly hideous pattern better saved for seventies wallpaper or mid-nineties magazines. They shouldn't look good on anyone and yet somehow, he more than manages to pull them off. It's probably got something to do with his easy confidence and the lazy smirk that's usually stretched across his face. If the smirk doesn't do it, the gritty baritone of his voice almost certainly does.

RP Hooks

The Band (Dam the River): Dam the River is all gritty vocals, roaring amps, and a heavy, sludgy sound that involves liberal use of distortion pedals. In short, it's classic PNW grunge, with all those same elements of punk rock and heavy metal smashed into bits and shoved in blender. Adam's their frontman, leading the four-piece for both vocals and guitar.

The Bar (The Burgundy Room): Adam owns and operatres The Burgundy Room (aka 'The Burg'), a dive bar billed as 'the oldest, darkest bar in Hollywood'. The place is small, dark, and loud, with distinctly red lighting that gives it its name. The Burgundy Room plays mostly old school hardcore, punk rock, 80's, and rock'n'roll classics and the crowd it draws matches the vibe. They do 90's karaoke night on Thursdays and have Zodiac drink specials--one for the current astrological sign, discounted for anyone with ID to prove that's their sign.
