Angela Miller: A Journey from Darkness to Stardom
Angela Miller, the driving force, singer/songwriter, frontwoman, and producer behind the incredibly popular electro-industrial band Overdrive 243, has taken Los Angeles by storm after moving from Sacramento in 2020. Despite facing numerous obstacles, her resilience and talent have elevated her to the forefront of the music scene, especially the industrial/goth/dark alternative scene, bringing it to new heights never seen before. In her past, Angela battled drug and alcohol issues, but her life took an unexpected turn when she miraculously survived a horrific car crash. This life-altering event, combined with the band's dissolution, and subsequent reforming after a long legal battle brought her to the brink of superstardom in an astonishingly short period.
Now stepping into the mainstream, whether she prefers it or not, Angela seems determined to maintain her underground credibility. Though the likes of Front 242, Skinny Puppy, Combichrist, and Funker Vogt are part of her past, she now finds herself in the company of Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, and Peyton Mae Quinn.
Having set her sights on Los Angeles, Angela wasted no time. With a new talent agency, 'WM Colossus,' by her side, she began the process of assembling a fresh band, connecting with new and fascinating individuals, and embracing the party lifestyle that comes with being a rock star.
Miller purchased 'The Flux Capacitor' in Silver Lake in early 2021 which seemed like an odd or possibly short lived business venture at the time, but continues to run it to this day. She is fairly hands on, and there's at least a 50/50 chance that club goers will see the star there on any given night.
In mid 2021 Angela managed to reform Overdrive 243 with an entirely new lineup after a grueling legal battle. Though some were skeptical about the band's prospects with only one original member remaining, any doubts were quickly laid to rest with the release of their 3rd album, and 1st since reforming, 'Digital rEvolution.' This album proved to be an incredible homage to everything dark alternative and electro, showcasing the band's impressive strides forward and unequivocally establishing Angela Miller as the driving force behind their past success, lead on by her Powerful Vocals.
'Neurochrome', was released in mid 2022, their second album since reforming, hit the shelves at a sprint, continuing to amaze fans and critics alike. This release is a testament to Angela's unwavering dedication to her craft and her ability to evolve with the changing musical landscape.
About a month after the release of Neurochrome, with her label desperately trying to secure more albums from the Overdrive 243 front woman which would have likely given her a MASSIVE payday, the superstar opened Oblivion Records in Downtown Santa Monica, a project she must have been working on quietly well before the release of her latest studio album, and which caught everyone by surprise. The label caters mostly to industrial / electronic / dark alternative style artists and has since also opened up a location in Germany. Angela Miller's journey from the depths of struggle to the pinnacle of success is an inspiration to all. Her talent, tenacity, and unique sound have captivated the hearts of music lovers worldwide. As she continues her ascent into superstardom, it's clear that Angela Miller's star is destined to shine ever brighter in the years to come.
Angela usually has a driver and bodyguard with her, sometimes two. But when she manages to escape them she can sometimes be seen on her motorcycle.

- Overdrive 243 'Voiceless' -
I thought you Voiceless
Your eyes called to me
You made me breathless
My words lost to me
I thought you Voiceless
Your touch set me free
You made me breathless
One look was all I need
I thought you Voiceless
Your touch spoke to me
You made me breathe
It brought me to my knees
You have a Voice
You pressed close to me
Just had to listen
Quietly
I was Voiceless
- Overdrive 243 'Edge of Ruin' -
You were my everything
My Darkest Heart
My Edge of Ruin
I had no time to heal
Your Fractured Forms
Your Lesser Evils
You lost your way with Me
My snuffed out light
My broken promise
We brought an end to this
Our Brittle Souls
Our Edge of Ruin
