Biography
Phoebe grew up in a small town outside of Santa Cruz, CA. Her mother runs a B&B catering to tourists looking to enjoy the natural splendors surrounding their home, and her father-- well, her father is Mason King, former Alpha of the Sept of the Smiling Angel. Phoebe is the last of his sizable brood.
For the most part, her childhood was idyllic -- long days spent hiking, surfing, and helping her mother run the B&B. Even so, it was a little bit lonely, having been homeschooled and mainly brought up within a small Kinfolk group. It was always exciting when new guests arrived at the B&B, granting the somewhat sheltered Phoebe a chance to meet fresh faces.
And, of course, there was always Camp Gaia.
Camp Gaia is an annual summer camp that specifically caters to Kinfolk youths. What began as a bonding retreat for local Children of Gaia Kin, has since become a national assemblage that welcomes all tribes. While Children of Gaia are by far the most common, it's not unusual to find Black Furies and the occasional Uktena Kin as well. More than anything, the camp is all about Friendship! Positivity! And love for Gaia! It's also the perfect place for young Kinfolk to dip their toes into sept life and to talk about all of the challenges, honors, and expectations that go along with having Garou relatives.
And s'mores. One mustn't forget the s'mores!
Phoebe has attended Camp Gaia since she was a child and eventually became one of its seniormost counselors. If one were to listen to the whispered rumors of various campers, they'd hear that Phoebe possesses an amazingly strong connection to wildlife and nature spirits...
But you know how camp is -- lots of tall tales and amazing stories.
Regardless, it seems as though Phoebe has since become entangled with a group of Kinfolk activists called the Defenders of Gaia -- yes, the DoGs! -- and that they've recently arrived in Los Angeles, intending to face down various agents of the Wyrm. As for Phoebe herself, she seems ready to assist her brother Liam by spreading a little bit of the Camp Gaia spirit -- while hopefully staying out of trouble. This will be the first time she's fully immersed herself in Garou society.
