The Flux Capacitor
![]()
HistoryMost recently the Flux Capacitor was purchased by Angela Miller of 'Overdrive 243', with the previous owners either leaving town, or having stepped away for more privacy. With that, the club has become a bit more dark, with old Industrial, Goth, Synthwave, and Post Punk taking a front seat. But Fridays is still a gong-show with the Flux putting on an incredible 80s night, playing all the hits, where there's a ton of singing along, and retro 70s, 80s, and 90s style presented throughout the venue. The Flux Capacitor is a retro nightclub, featuring rock music from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. In the past, it was one large dancefloor with a mezzanine that overlooked the dancefloor. Recently, the club has undergone reservations that turned the mezanine into a true second floor, and a stage for live performances was added to the main dance floor. The club itself is named after a fictional time-travel device imagined for the movie "Back To The Future", and this theme is seen in both the Main Dancefloor and the Video Lounge. The club first opened in Los Angeles back in the middle of 2016 and has been in operation since then, although it's gone through a total of three rennovations (including the most recent), as its grown in popularity and profitability.
