Biography

Elyse was born in the Cascade mountain range, southern Oregon. The oldest of six, she lived with her parents for about a year and a half before she went off on her own. She found some family on the eastern side of the Yolo county Sierras and stayed with them for a time.

She did her best to help the breeding female, hunting game and providing for her children. Eventually, when Elyse was roughly 2 1/2, she realized she did not belong there. She wasn't like her found family, as she was Garou. She traveled to the Sept of the Western Eye north of San Francisco where she learned about her people, including how to live among them. She became a member of the Black Fury tribe due to supposed blood relation to the tribe. No one could say for certain, but she fit the general description (unless she was a Shadow Lord, Gaia forbid).

Following her own Rite of Passage, she stayed on at Western Eye for a while. She helped with training the new cubs, occasionally trying to find a pack of her own. As a member of the conservative Bacchantes kuklos, she managed to piss off a member of the Avengers of Diana for rejecting their attempts at recruitment in a ... let's say "rude" way. She actually didn't know any better, humans take offense at weird stuff. It should be mentioned that Elyse was born as a wolf.

After remaining at the Sept of the Western Eye for around 8 years (which is an extremely long time for someone who still mostly thinks about time as a wolf might), Elyse has come to Los Angeles to help the Sept of the Smiling Angel fight against the Wyrm and to elevate her own understanding of how best to serve her Tribe and kuklos.

Recently, Elyse has become a Guardian for the Sept of the Smiling Angel. She has also begun a project to enliven some of the plant life of Los Angeles, specifically in bringing back native species of plants to help reinvigorate the pollinator species and to help with drought-resistant natural life.

Recently, Elyse received recognition for her efforts and became a Fostern within the sept. During the same gathering, Mammoth was summoned and bound her as Zedakh (alpha) of the pack called Tusk Punk! with her companions: Kaz, Clem, Julieta, and Joan.
